The American talk-show host, actress and producer, Oprah Winfrey, and her best friend Gayle King, the Editor in Chief of O, The Oprah Magazine have collaborated to organize a Girls’ Getaway cruise that will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a three-day round trip on January 30, 2019. A great way to begin the new year, Oprah will be hosting inspirational events and conversational panels alongside Gayle for guests on board, and there will be plenty unwinding exercises like meditation, yoga and healthy-eating.
Editors and Stylists from the magazine will be hosting sessions, workshops and shows all over the cruise. Gayle will join Oprah to tell stories about her career and inspirational women she met on her journey. The Creative Director, Adam Glassman, will give out his secret tricks to revamp our new-year-wardrobes in his styling session “Love That!”, and the O Beauty Director, Brian Underwood, will provide tips to enhance our looks.
The Holland America Line’s new cruise – the Nieuw Statendam – which is currently under construction in Italy, will be stopping for a day of retreat sessions in the Line’s private island beach, Half Moon Cay, in Bahamas. Meditation and movement sessions will also be held throughout the journey around the cruise’s “Lido Pool”.
