Not for the faint hearted, the XDubai Slingshot had its first plunge on October 26, 2018 in Kite Beach. This human slingshot speeds up to 100kmph, making it the fastest of its kind in the region, and the first one in Dubai. Thrill seekers are propelled 120m over sand and water with a 4G force. For safety reasons, they are required to wear helmets.
The slingshot is XDubai’s second project after the launch of XLine, which was the world’s longest urban zip line in Dubai Marina in December 2017. For AED 280, darers can embark on this well-worth adventure every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 7pm, for a limited time period. Tickets can only be purchased on sight and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
