Emirates Airline is about to celebrate Diwali (festival of lights) with its travellers on-board and in selected Airports. Flights travelling between Dubai and India will include savoury sweets and delicacies that are traditional to the Indian culture. While Diwali is celebrated on November 7, the airline will be offering the desserts throughout the week of festivity – from November 4 to 10.

The Economy Class passengers will be served gram-flour Motichoor Laddu and the First and Business Class customers will be getting fig-ful Anjeer Chakkar in addition to the Laddu. Emirates’ premium lounges in Dubai, Delhi, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Kuala Lumpur are going all out on the day of Diwali (November 7), as they will be serving a three-course Indian meal with starters of samosa and dal kachori, mains of biriyani and chapati, and a wide array of mouthwatering Indian desserts – from rasmalai to kheer (porridge).
